To close the achievement and opportunity gaps for first generation, low-income students and parents in the college admissions process.

YES! College provides disadvantaged students, parents, and guidance counselors with the resources they need to succeed in the college admissions process. Through connecting first generation, low-income high school students to opportunities and resources, we hope to increase representation of FGLI students at the United States' top universities.

I always thought that my income would limit my success in college admissions. YES! College helped show me that there was a huge community of FGLI students who I shared experiences with and gave me the confidence I needed to apply to Ivy League universities.

YES! College connected me with summer programs I had never heard of and to an amazing mentor. Now, I look forward to attending Yale Young Global Scholars this summer and will use YES! College's resources when I apply to college next year.

I love the resources that YES! College provides specifically for FGLI students. As my parents are Chinese immigrants, this organization provided them with resources that made college admissions less confusing to them, and they became more excited!
